GoTo Instruction
GoTo allows for movement around the command by skipping lines. It will also allow for module organization for longer commands.
InputBox
InputBox can be used to allow user to input information into the command. It is quick, organized and can be a single line of script. More advanced version of this will be Dialog Boxes.
While loop
While is a loop that can be used to keep a loop running as long as it is switched on. “While Variable = On” then that loop will continue until something inside the loop turns “while variable = off” and stops the loop.
MsgBox
MsgBox is a function that is very useful for giving information back out to the user about either requested information or the status of where the command is running at. Similar forms are InputBoxes and DialogBoxes.
Select Case
Select case is a more organized, cleaner way of doing “if then statements” in cases where there are a large amount of different inputs and outcomes.
Stop Instruction
Very simple instruction to stop command and how to user it.
Do Until Loop.
Do until loop is a looping function that I use to check to see if a specific action has taken place and when it does, to continue on with the command.
